Easington Parish Council has been awarded a Grant of £5,000, from the Do it for East Yorkshire Community Grant Fund - We are really excited to have received this and it will go a long way to sorting out the Village Garden.
The contract for Landscaping the Village Garden has been awarded to Key Renovations, who are a local based company, Shane Keyworth has lived in the area all of his life and we know he will take care when undertaking the contract.
The replacement seating will be provided by NBB Recycled Furniture - the Parish Council made a decision a while ago to replace seating as and when required with seats made of composite materials.
The planting, weeding, hedge cutting and refreshments whilst all this is undertaken is to be done by volunteers from the Community - WE NEED YOU ! - look on our Facebook group or for posters for further news.
